Hi friends, Adrienne from @studio80design here to show you how to create a beautiful swatch page for the Acrylograph Palettes! I love creating swatch pages in my bullet journal so I can easily reference each palette and what the colors look like together.

Materials you’ll need:

• Archer and Olive A5 Signature Dot Grid Notebook
• Archer and Olive Acrylograph Pens Tropical Selection 0.7mm Tip (or any other palette)
• Pencil
• Eraser
• Scissors
• Tombow Fudenosuke Hard Tip Brush Pen

Step 1

The first step is to sketch out with pencil where your pattern will go in your A5 Signature Dot Grid Notebook. I'm going to make this pattern go vertical rather than horizontal. There are eight colors to swatch and they fit better vertically with a width of three square wide for each color.

Step 2

Next, take the first color in the Acrylograph Palette you want to swatch. I am swatching the Tropical Set. Draw a rectangle that is 3 squares wide and is the length of the page.Then draw right triangles with a base of 6 squares and 3 squares tall. The dots in the notebook really come in handy for creating these lines!

Step 3

Now comes the tricky part! All the triangles on the right will have angled lines going down and to the right. All the triangles on the left will have angled lines going down and to the left. Again, the dots on the page will be your guide to drawing these lines! It's easier if you do all the triangles on one side first and then move to the other side!

Step 4

Once you've got the pattern down, we're going to repeat it in reverse! Using the next color in the palette, draw your vertical triangle that is 3 squares wide. Then draw the right triangles, making the left triangles have a base that matches the previous triangles that are touching. When you draw the diagonal lines on this color, the lines will be reversed. Start on the left side and have the lines meet with the previous color, then move to the right triangles.

Continue to work your way through the colors in the palette, making sure to reverse the pattern as you move across the page!

The great thing about Acrylograph Pens is they are fast-drying! I didn't have any smudging while creating this page. Once your page is dry, erase any extra pencil marks with your eraser.

Then cut the edge of the page to create a tab near the top. As you add more Swatch pages you can move the tab down as you cut each page so they’re all easily visible! I also like to round the corners to match the pages of the notebook. 

Use the Tombow Fudenosuke Hard Tip Brush Pen to write the name of the Acrylograph palette onto the tab so you can easily find the page you’re looking for! 

And that’s it! You can create a swatch page for each of the Acrylograph palettes you have so you can easily reference the colors in each collection!
