Goal Setting Bullet Journal Page Tutorial

by Guest Blogger 06 Mar 2021 0 Comments

Hello friends, Adrienne from @studio80design here to talk about goal setting in your bullet journal! One of the reasons why I love bullet journaling is you can customize your pages to your own life—everything from calendars, lists, art pages, and goals! Having a goals page where you can write down your goals and track them is helpful when trying to implement those goals into your life! One of my favorite quotes is by Greg Reid: "A dream written down with a date becomes a goal. A goal broken down into steps becomes a plan. A plan backed by action makes your dreams come true." Let's get started!

Tools you’ll need:

Step 1

At the top of the page in your Archer and Olive Dot Grid Notebook, use the Fudenosuke Soft Tip Brush Pen to write "Goals". This brush pen is great for hand lettering and you can get such great line variation!

Step 2

Use a MONO Drawing Pen size 03 to draw a small flower illustration in the bottom right corner of your page. I love using the MONO Drawing Pens to illustrate, they come in six different sizes and they glide easily on paper!

Step 3

Next, use the larger MONO Drawing Pen 08 to draw a rectangle border around your page around the title and floral illustration. I just free-handed this border because I like the look of slightly imperfect, hand-drawn lines!

Step 4

Now it's time to write in your goals! I picked six goals I want to work on this month. I wrote the titles with a MONO Drawing Pen 03 on the left side of the page and then used the 02 pen to write out each of the days for the month on the right.

Step 5

To add a bit of color, I used the Dual Brush Pens in pastel colors to highlight the days of each individual goal. These brush pens are great because they are two-sided with a brush tip and a bullet tip so you can use them for a variety of projects!

Step 6

All that's left to do is track your progress in each goal! Whenever I complete a goal for the day I use a MONO Drawing Pen to cross it out! And you're done!
