Healthy Living Bullet Journal Ideas + FREE PRINTABLE

by Guest Blogger 12 Jan 2021 1 comment

Hi loves! It's Kate from @journalwithkate and I'm back with some inspiration for health related bullet journal spreads. Bullet journals are wonderful tools to keep you motivated and accountable to be the best version of yourself!

I love the tracking aspect of bullet journaling and have different spreads devoted to tracking my health, meal plans and workouts. Today I want to share with you how I use my meal plan and workout trackers in my bullet journal. I've included a FREE printable below so you can start meal planning in YOUR bullet journal today!

 Recommended Bullet Journaling Supplies:

  • Archer and Olive NotebookMy pick is the A5 Into The Forest Dot Grid Notebook. Click on this link or use code KATE10 to save money on your order! These notebooks are perfect if you’re looking for pages that don’t ghost or bleed!
  • Pencil and eraser:  These are my absolute must-haves! I always sketch out my drawing before inking them!
  • A touch of color: I've been using Tombow Dual Brush pens to add a pop of color to my spreads. Of course you can use any medium you like!

Yearly workout tracker

The first health related spread I include in my yearly setup is a yearly workout tracker. It's super easy and quick to set up. Here I've used gold letter stickers to mark that it's a workout tracker. Off course you don't need stickers to do this. You can write 'WORKOUT' or use a stencil to mark it down. The next step is listing all the months of the year and add a corresponding amount of dots for each month. When I've worked out on a certain day, I color that dot red. At the end of the year I can see how I did at a glance.

Meal plan

I love adding meal planning spreads in my bullet journal. Planning my meals each week has changed so many aspects of my life. Not only do I eat better, I save money and have a lot less stress. No longer do I have to worry each evening what I’m going to cook for dinner.

For this spread I've used a stencil to write down the text. I've added 7 boxes to correspond with each day of the week. Each box has 3 circles to track breakfast, lunch and dinner. I've used the Tombow Dual Brush pen marker in color no. 947 to add the wood texture.

I always add a grocery list to my meal trackers. Long gone are the memories of finally deciding on something, only to discover I was missing a key ingredient!

Monthly workout tracker

To keep myself accountable and motivated to actually workout, at the beginning of each month, I set up a workout schedule. This one is super easy to create.

There is something so satisfying about checking of workouts in my bullet journal. Call it magic or whatever you want, but it definitely keeps me motivated to keep my body moving!.

I've shown you a handful of 'healthy living' bullet journal spread ideas. I hope you find this blogpost helpful and you'll start (re)creating your own health related spreads! I'd love to see what you create, so tag me (@journalwithkate) and @archerandolive on Instagram. Don't forget to download your FREE meal planning printable!

Good luck and have fun!
