Hello everyone! It is Erin Floto from @erinflotodesigns here. We are coming up on the holiday season and I don’t know about you but I am always struggling to find gifts for the men in my life during the holidays! Whether it is my boyfriend, my dad, my nephew or my brothers, I am always struggling to find the right gift for them. So here is a list of 10 general gift ideas for the men in your life and a printable to help you keep track of gift buying in your bullet journal!

But first, here are the items you will need:

• Archer and Olive Notebook - Any color and size will do but you may be interested in using one of the holiday themed notebooks so you can keep lists every year!
• Any Pen - I love using a variety of calliographs, acrylographs and more!
• Creativity and Decoration - I used washi tape and doodles for my spread. I included a space in the printable to doodle the gift idea!

Gift Ideas from the Heart

Before I get into the gift ideas, here is just a quick gentle reminder that the holidays are not just about gifts but also spending time with your loved ones. Make sure to take this time to heart and if you are exchanging gifts, do so from the heart as well. For example, think about the person’s favorite color when picking or making items or you can wrap it in a special wrapping paper or bag. I always love to wrap my gifts with dog wrapping paper because there are a lot of dog lovers in my life!

Accessories

This is usually my go-to for the person who seemingly has everything. I love to get them extra accessories. This could be a fun new wallet, a new watch or even just a new watch band. Some other accessories that could be fun:

• Key Chain
• Fridge Magnets
• Bottle Opener
• Sunglasses
• Ties
• Necklace/Chains
• Pocketknife

As I mentioned above, try to personalize these items for the person you are buying for. A tie is great but if you know they love the color blue, try to find one in that color. Or for a bottle opener, maybe they have a bottle opener with their favorite team’s logo on it!

Power Tools

Before spending a bunch of money on power tools, be sure that you are a) buying them something new and b) buying them something they need. And as a DIYer myself I can promise that having an extra drill is also handy and if they have all the tools they seemingly need, you can’t go wrong with an extra charging station and battery pack. Another thing to be on the look for is matching the new tool you are buying to the brand they already own so take a peek into their tool collection before purchasing. I love this gift for a handy (or want to be handy) dad, partner or grandfather!

Golf Supplies

I have been getting super into golf myself this past summer and I see A LOT of men on the course so I think this is usually a pretty safe bet. One of the things about golf is that you can never have too many supplies. If you have clubs already, I promise you that unless your partner is on the pro tour, they are losing their golf balls. I lose mine all the time in the water so trust me, they could use extra golf balls going into a new season 🙂

Other types of golf supplies that can be useful can include:

• Gloves
• Sunglasses

• Ball Markers
• Head Covers

Tumblers, Mugs, and Water Bottles

The next item is for you coffee lovers and water drinkers. My partner is notorious for getting new water bottles and I’m pretty sure most of you have at least seen one video on social media about having too many tumblers, mugs, or water bottles. So let’s feed into that by purchasing more! I know the Yeti Tumblers are always a good option and you can get them in a ton of colors and designs. As mentioned above, make it extra special by customizing it for the person you are purchasing for!

Grill Supplies

The bonus of purchasing grill supplies is this is just one more reason for your partner or dad to cook an amazing grilled meal for you or your family. My partner loves getting on the grill so purchasing some extra supplies will inspire him to grill and that is one less dinner I need to help with!

Some grill supplies that would be good gifts:

• Grilling Apron
• Grill Basket
• Spatula, Tongs, Fork, etc
• Grill Brush and Scraper

Charging/Clutter Tray

This is another gift for them but could also be a gift for you too. I don’t know how many times my partner has asked me if I know where his wallet is. So purchasing a charging or clutter tray where they can put their keys, wallet, and also charge their airpods or watch is such a useful gift!

New Shoes

New shoes are always a goto gift in my family because everyone is very active. My parents love to go on walks and they often burn out their shoes every year around the holidays so it is a super easy and simple gift and we always try to personalize it for their favorite colors. It is useful and a good gift to keep them active as they get older!

Knife Block

If you have a man in your life that loves to cook and play chef, a new knife block is a great idea! You could also get a knife sharpener or a hanging knife display if they are very particular about their knife set.

Comfy Pillow

This gift is for the person who never treats themselves and is always complaining about neck and back pain. I bet they are complaining about it because they haven’t gotten themselves a new pillow in years. I also have a habit of returning to my safety comfort pillow but I’ll tell you every time I do that, I tend to have neck pain again! So give them the gift of an amazing night’s sleep!
