Setting Up a Concert Log for your Bullet Journal
I’m Gracie (@graciecreates) from the Archer and Olive ambassador team! I’m a huge concert goer, whether that be a gig for a local band or the giant production of a music festival. As both a live music lover and a bullet journaler, I love to keep track of all of my concerts in an organized concert log. As festival and summer concert season approaches, try out this spread in your journal to track all of that live music!
Supplies you’ll need:
- Your bullet journal - I’m using an A5 notebook from Archer & Olive
- Archer and Olive Acrylograph pens
- Archer and Olive Gel pens
- Fineliner pens
- Ruler
- (Optional) Printable of the spread - I designed a printable version that you can print & add to your journal (or bulletin board, wall, etc) instead!

Design Your Concert Log
For this spread, you’re free to include as many or as little details about each concert as you’d like. I like to include 8 different columns of information, but feel free to add more/take any away that you find aren’t relevant for you! In mine, I included:
- Date
- Show
- I like to include the name of the tour or festival, as sometimes it differs from just the headlining artists name!
- Headliner
- Opener
- City
- Venue
- Who I Attended With
- Notes
- This is where I write any special occurrences like special guests, surprise songs, or any other unique details about the event.
First, draw in the grid for the spreadsheet. I always like to use a dot grid notebook for projects like this because the grid ensures your lines will be straight & even. Be mindful of how much space you’ll need for each column. If you use an A5 dot grid notebook, you can refer to my measurements!
- Date: 3 squares across
- Show: 8 squares across
- Headliner: 8 squares across
- Opener: 8 squares across
- City: 5 squares across
- Venue: 5 squares across
- Who I Attended With: 9 squares across
- Notes: 8 squares across
Then, use the top row of the grid to add in the titles for each column. For this you can write it in yourself, use stickers, or color code it for easy referencing.
Don’t want to draw it yourself? I made a printable version of this spread just for you! You can print it out & add it into your journal with glue or tape, or just pin it onto your wall or bulletin board to admire & add to throughout the year.

You’ll notice that I also left a bar 4 squares tall at the top of the page. This is you can add a header for the spread! Depending on when you’re adding this spread to your journal, you can adapt the header to whatever your theme is for the month. Or, you can draw some concert doodles like me. Take this time to be creative & personalize the page, as the rest of it will be mainly for logging concerts!
And that is the finished concert log! I always look forward to adding in another entry when I get home from a concert or festival. Looking for more spread ideas to add to your bullet journal? Check out this blog post from ambassador team member Jess for some more journal spread ideas.
