Floral Circle Wreath Tutorial

by Adrienne Castleton 31 May 2019 0 Comments

Hello friends, Adrienne from @studio80design here today to share a fun floral wreath tutorial with you! I love using my Archer and Olive Sketchbook to draw florals, the crisp white pages are perfect for every type of drawing!

Materials you’ll need:

  • Archer and Olive A5 Signature Sketchbook
  • Helix 360 Degree Angle and Circle Maker (or a round object to trace your circle)
  • Pencil
  • Tombow MONO DrawingPen 01
  • Tombow Fudenosuke Hard Tip Brush Pen, Black
  • Tombow MONO Eraser

Step 1

Place the circle maker, or other round object, in the center of your page. With your pencil, lightly trace a circle.

Step 2

Use your pencil to lightly draw flowers and leaves around the circle. I varied the number of flowers around the circle, so it wouldn’t all be the same!

Step 3

Ink in your florals and leaves with the MONO Drawing Pen 01. I love using this Pen because it has a very fine tip, which is perfect for drawing small details and line work!

Step 4

Using that same pen, add in the tiny details of each flower and leaf. You can also draw in tiny berries around the wreath to help fill it out!

Step 5

Write a fun quote on the inside of your wreath using the Tombow Fudenosuke Hard Tip Brush Pen. This is my all-time favorite pen to use and it’s great for beginners, too!
