How To Include Photos In Your Bullet Journal

by Content Team 11 Aug 2022 0 Comments

Hi Friends! It’s Rose here from @littlemissrose on Instagram and YouTube.  In this blog post I'm going to show you how you can include photos in your bullet journal.  Using photos in your bullet journal is a great way to decorate your pages and also memory keep in your journal.

Before you start, you’ll need to decide which photos you want to include in your bullet journal.  Once you’ve done that, you’ll need to print them out.  There are various ways you can do this:

  • Have your photos printed at a camera store or online at a photo printing shop
  • Use a pocket photo printer, such as a HP sprocket
  • Use a thermal image printer, like a Phomemo printer - you can check out how to use one in this blog post here.
  • Print out on your home printer

Printing Photos for My Bullet Journal

For this example, I’ve decided to use photos of summer that I found on the internet to decorate a weekly spread.  You can use your own personal photos to decorate your bullet journal if you want to.

I have used Canva, which is a free online tool, to collate all the photos I want to use onto one page.  You can resize the photos to whatever size you want, this way you can have as many, or as few photos as you want on your bullet journal pages.

You can download the sheet of photos I’ve used for this example here.

I’ve simply printed this from my home printer, onto sticker paper.  If you don’t have sticker paper, just print onto copy paper.  You can glue these photos into your bullet journal.

Before sticking your photos into your bullet journal, it’s a good idea to lay them out on your pages so that you are happy with their placement before you stick the photos down.

Once you’ve stuck your photos down, you can complete your pages with week day headers, and further decorate using sticker, stamps or washi.

Other ways you can use photos in your bullet journal is to decorate a monthly page.  For instance, if there are special birthdays during a month, you can add the birthday persons photo the page.  Like Jess from @Jashiicorrin has here:

Or you can use photos that you’ve taken on a special day or a special outing to create memory pages like Jerica from @Jericaplans has here:

Here is another good example from Jess again:

I hope you’ve found this blog post useful and that you try creating this yourselves in your notebook!  If you do please share and tag @littlemissrose and @archerandolive in your creations!
