Our signature notebooks are designed for a variety of mediums! While the paper isn't watercolor paper, many have found success using watercolor in their notebooks (typically do better the less water you use). If you are interested in using heavy watercolor in your journal, check out our new watercolor notebooks - which have 200gsm paper made specifically for watercolor!

There are some fountain pens that work great in our notebooks! Any water based ink works well as well (Tombow Markers, highlighters, etc.) Alcohol based ink like Copic or Prisma markers will bleed (those require a specific coated paper).

Unless your order contains a preorder item, orders will ship out within 4 business days. Most packages will ship out within 24-48 hours.

Our Standard Processing Time is 2-4 business days (5-8 business days during any major seasonal launch) and Shipping Time depends on the option chosen at checkout. Please expect longer shipping times during the holidays.

Opt In- We will make this right immediately and send out a replacement right away!

Opt Out- We do ask that you wait 5 business days as sometimes that lost package has a way of arriving. After that time we will resend the package. If you do not want to wait those 5 business days and you opted out you can also pay the original shipping cost and we will resend that replacement right away.


Was your package damaged in transit?

Opt In- We will make this right immediately and send out a replacement right away!

Opt Out- You can pay that original shipping fee and we will send that out right away, or you can wait up to 7 business days as our claims specialist works to get that claim approved. If it is approved we will ship out and cover all shipping fees, if it is denied we will still send out the replacement, but there will be a charge for the original shipping cost.

Was your package lost in transit or taking longer to arrive?

Opt In- Once it has reached passed our promised allotted time we will make this right immediately and send out a replacement right away!

Opt Out- We will give you the option to either repay the shipping fee to get that resent or we will wait 5 more days as most of the time packages to tend to show up. After the 5 days we are always happy to make that right with no extra fees.

We offer international shipping anywhere in the world *Except for Subscription Boxes. Please see store policies for those countries*.

Shipping rates will be based on a live algorithm and will vary. If your country allows duties pre-paid, you will see those costs added at checkout.

Please note: You are responsible for paying all taxes and duties unless given the option at checkout to pay those prior to delivery.

International shipping can take between 1 and 6 weeks for most countries. However, customs can delay packages for up to 8 weeks. *For those in Australia due to current restrictions it is taking around 12 weeks.* If your package hasn't arrived after 8 weeks, start by contacting your local post office or customs office.

Yes, we ship to the UK & EU. To get your order to you, we've partnered with Passport Shipping and they will be the Seller for all orders to the UK for orders under €135 and orders to the EU for orders €150 and Under.

Absolutely! We want you to be 100% satisfied with your notebook. If for any reason you wish to return, please reach out for a return label.

*Subscription boxes cannot be cancelled and refunded after that months box has been shipped out.

*Please note, only items purchased through our online store can be returned. If you need to return an item purchased through a retailer, please contact them directly.

Because some orders ship out within hours, it’s very hard for us to catch orders to make those changes. If you do happen to place an order with an incorrect address or the wrong product, we are happy to refund you for the product only and you will be able to re-purchase the item of choice with the correct shipping address.

This box will ship out automatically every 3 months. You can edit information on your subscription by logging into your account on the site and clicking "Manage Subscriptions". To cancel your subscription, please email hello@archerandolive.com prior to the next quarters box billing. Once a box has been billed, we are unable to make any changes to that box and changes will be reflected the next quarter.

No free shipping or discount codes will be eligible for Subscription Boxes.

Domestic Shipping: Up to 14 business days for shipping after it has processed.

International Shipping: If your country has the option to send Duties Paid it will automatically send this way. If your country does not offer this service it will ship with Duties Unpaid and you are responsible for those fees at delivery. 4-10 business days for shipping, up to 8 weeks after it has processed. Please refer to our store policies to see a list of countries that we cannot ship to at this time.

You will have access to Club A&O content for 3 months, or as long as you keep your Subscription to the Box.

Restocking dates will vary by item. You can sign up to receive restock notifications on specific items on the product description page.

Please note: Our “Back In Stock” alerts are programmed to send out emails to the customers from the top of the list down. The number of customers emailed depends on the number of items restocked. For example, if we restock 10 of something, the email will be sent to the first 10 people who have signed up.
