Bullet Journal Theme: Green And Gold
Hello! Nabaa from @whimsical.doodles here with an easy new theme for your bullet journal! This time it's all about highlighting green and gold. If you follow me on Instagram, you'll have seen my March Theme - and today, I'm going to take you through the process of creating the cover page!
Materials I used:
- Archer and Olive A5 Dot Grid Notebook
- Posca Pen in Khaki
- Sakura Gelly Roll - Gold and White
- Kraft Paper
- Pencil and Eraser
Let's begin! Step one - start by drawing on random lines using your pencil. There's no right way to do this. Just draw the lines in any direction you wish - the only thing I'd mention is to try and space the lines evenly.
Once you have a few lines on, start adding in the little leaves. Again, these don't have to be perfectly even - just draw them on where you want your leaves to go! Once you're happy with your pencil sketch, start inking with your posca pen!
I cannot sing enough praise for these pens! They're an absolute dream to work with. The best part is - with the Archer and Olive paper, you don't have to worry about any ghosting or bleeding!
Colour in most of the leaves, leaving a few blanks for the gold! I added in just a few of the gold to offset all the green.
This is what you should have once you've added in the colors!
At this point, I decided on adding just a tiny bit more gold - because more gold details never hurt. Add on little gold dots all around the leaves.
And finally - insert the kraft paper! Cut out a little strip and stick it on top. Letter in your month and you're all set!
