How To Create A Winter Bucket List In Your Bullet Journal + Winter Doodle Tutorials!
Hey guys, Masha here from Masha Plans.
It’s crazy, but winter is coming, so I’m starting to get ready with my winter Bullet Journal pages.
It’s funny there is no snow in Beijing, and in La Paz, where I live now, the weather is the same the entire year.
Yet for me, winter will always be like in Russia when I was a kid - full of snow, fireworks, skating, and everything white.
I know I probably romanticize things a lot now; snow gets pretty tiring after about a week.
But still i’s a magical time of the year, and if I can’t have it now, I can at least bring it to my journal pages.
So today, I’ll be creating a winter bucket list, which will remind me of all my favorite things to do in frosty white winter.
Supplies For Bullet Journal Winter Bucket List
Here are some of the supplies I used for creating this page:
- Kraft Paper Journal. There is something very cozy about kraft paper, so I decided to make this list here. You can also just use a kraft paper notepad.
- Acrylograph pens. At this point, I can’t remember what set these colors came from, but I used them for the header and some of the doodles.
- Grey brush pen. I like creating a little shadow to my doodles, so I used a grey Faber Castell Pitt Artist pen for that effect.
And remember, if you want to get anything from Archer and Olive, you can always use my code MASHA10 for 10% off your order.
DOODLES
I, of course, started preparing for this page with a list of things I wanted to include, which gave me ideas for the doodles to use.
I’m a colossal doodler, as you know, sp, of course, I had to add a doodle to every activity.
In case you’re not much into doodling, I decided to include here a little tutorial with a few doodles that I think you might want to have in your list.
WINTER BUCKET LIST
Before I show you my list, I thought it might be fun to write down slime winter things you might want to include in yours!
Bucket lists are great to remind you to enjoy the season and experience ALL the things, so when creating yours, just go with it and write everything you have in mind.
Here are a few ideas to get you started:
- Homemade hot chocolate
- Go ice skating
- Build a snowman
- Keep a gratitude journal
- See a ballet, maybe a Nutcracker?!
- Read by the fire
- Have some mulled wine
- Family winter photoshoot
- Have a pajama party
- Go skiing
- DIY snow globes
- Plan a staycation
- Make a snow angel
- Snowball fight
- Game night
I can go on and on with the ideas, but I think this should be enough to get you going.
Here are some things I chose for my winter bucket list.
I kept it pretty simple but trying to create a warm cozy feeling with it.
